The context

Many speech therapists adapt board games to work on spoken and written language, cognitive functions or logical-mathematical reasoning. Those adaptations were scattered across binders and private groups. LogoBox brings them together on a platform built by and for speech therapists, where anyone can publish, find and reuse game sheets.

What I built

A complete web application, from the database to the interface:

  • search by skill, age, number of players and duration;
  • a structured sheet editor: game used, prerequisites, target skills, drag-and-drop steps and sub-steps, variations;
  • PDF export of every sheet, matching the paper template the client already used;
  • a personal area: dashboard and statistics, drafts, favourites, notifications;
  • reviews, comments and public profiles.

Peer review

To ensure quality without central moderation, each submitted sheet goes to three randomly selected active speech therapists. Two approvals publish it, two rejections send it back to its author with their comments, and unanswered requests expire automatically after five days. A moderation filter tailored to French completes the setup.

Production-ready

Email-verified accounts, rate limiting, error tracking with Sentry, and a daily quota check (database, emails) that raises an alert before any limit is reached.
